GODDESS - Saison/Farmhouse Ale

Goddess is the first collab between Belgian Metal Band ‘Off The Cross’ and the Sweynbeer Craft Brewery. Named after their song The Goddess, this beer is brewed in honor of their new record ‘Enjoy It While it Lasts’.

Although categorized as a Saison/Farmhouse Ale, we can’t label the beer, just like we can’t label the band! Both are just good!

 

Brewed with Barley, wheat and Munich malt, Hopped by Dr. Fermentør (Brewmeister) with The mighty Warrior hop (It doesn’t get more metal than this!) and the German Hallertau Blanc, which gives the beer a vinous character, it’s a beer with a full pallet.

 

Fermented for 4 weeks with only Belgian metal in the background brought this beer right to the point with fruity and spicy notes and a subtle peppery aroma (although this could have something to do with the Belle Saison yeast, who will know?). Result: Dry and Drinkable!
